Milco SA

Milco’s adventure begins in 1955, with the distribution of powdered milk for the Swiss chocolate industry. In 1990, the company decides to reorient its milk processing activities towards the industry of high-quality local dairy products. This leads to the production of several regional products such as milk, creams, yoghurts and butter. In 2005 Milco invests in the construction of a cheese factory and starts producing a range of cheeses such as raclette, poya and armailli.

These products are all made with fresh milk from farmers based in the Gruyère and Fribourg regions, with whom Milco has developed a true relationship of trust and loyalty over the years.

About the building

The site is located in Vuisternens-en-Ogoz, between the Sarine and Gruyère districts, at a short distance from the main milk producers of the area. This gives the company a central position in the region. Moreover, the building is situated close to a motorway access, which facilitates shipping and deliveries.
