Acquisition of an industrial asset in Muttenz (BL)

This February Varia Swiss signed a binding forward commitment with vanBaerle for the acquisition of their new headquarter located in the “Getec Park” in Muttenz (Basel Land). The asset will be acquired as soon as it will be delivered in the end of Q1 2021.

Asset description

The property is located in the Getec Park industrial area in Muttenz (BL), home to major chemical and pharmaceutical companies, including Novartis and Clariant. The site offers an attractive logistic location, comprehensive services to the companies and a close network with local authorities, institutions and trade associations. The building developed on the 13’061 m2 plot will be exploited by vanBaerle, a leading Swiss-based company that focuses his activities on Hygiene and Silicates. vanBaerle will move to Muttenz from his current site located in Münchenstein in the course of 2021. This strategically located asset will benefit of a 20-year triple net lease with a prime single tenant.
